Healthy food fuels our healthy lives. No matter your health concerns, our nutritionist will help you plan delicious meals and snacks that boost your mood, energy, and wellbeing.


Postpartum Nutrition and Physical Activity Class

Are you a new parent looking for tips to stay healthy after giving birth?

On Monday, November 27, from 5 to 6 p.m., we will be offering a free one-hour class on eating well and staying active during your postpartum period.

The class will be led by a UAA dietetics graduate student. You can join either in person at ANHC (4951 Business Park Blvd. in the third-floor conference room) or via Zoom.

Registered dietitian Tamara Deschaine, RDN, LD, CDCES, will work closely with your primary care provider to build a nutrition plan that meets your needs.

Nutrition counseling is available to all ANHC patients, including those with the following conditions:

  • Diabetes or prediabetes

  • Food allergies or intolerances

  • Gastrointestinal disorders

  • High blood pressure

  • High cholesterol

  • Kidney disease

  • Weight gain or loss

Other services include:​

  • Meal planning assistance

  • Healthy eating tips while on a budget

  • Exercise recommendations
