Elizabeth Fisher, MD

I was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. My father is an engineer and my mother is a family practice doctor. I grew up in a home that was passionate about helping those in need here in our community as well as around the world. My parents took us on several mission trips around the world, as well as took in au pairs and exchange students to give us a worldwide perspective. I ended up doing an exchange year in Germany after high school, which is where I learned to speak German. My husband and I have four children that we adopted, so I have a soft spot for those who do foster care or have adopted as well. ANHC drew me in with the mission to serve those in need regardless of where they are from or their ability to pay. This aligns with my worldview—that God has called us to care for those He has placed in our lives—and is why I chose to work here alongside my amazing colleagues.
