Patient Services Lead
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Director of Practice Management, the Patient Services Lead ensures efficient day-to-day operations of the Patient Services Department. This position will be responsible for training and continued guidance of staff within an assigned Pod, ensure adequate staffing coverage, and communicate with other Patient Services Leads to ensure all daily goals and expectations are met. The Patient Services Lead will be responsible for performing all duties of a Patient Services Representative. The Patient Services Lead will be responsible for auditing encounters, managing registration paperwork, accumulating data for quality outcomes and identifying targeted training for Patient Services staff. The Patient Services Leads will work directly with Clinical Administrative Coordinators and other Patient Services Leads to ensure efficient patient flow.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or the equivalent. Requires five years of appropriate office work experience with progressive responsibility, including at least two years in the healthcare industry. Substitution: Satisfactory completion of an appropriate vocational training course of study such as medical office training may be substituted for up to one year of the required two years of healthcare office work experience. Attendance and punctuality are key in this role.
HIRING RANGE: $20.15 - $25.18
