Process Standardization Coordinator
SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position, in collaboration with ANHC staff, will strive to accurately and completely develop process documents to support work standardization efforts within our Health Center. ANHC strongly believes in a patient centered environment and standardized and centralized work will help reduce processing errors that effect patients, streamline internal processes, and support cross functional training for staff. The Process Standardization Coordinator will work directly with key department heads in the nursing, medical, dental, lab, pharmacy, enrollment, and billing functional areas to understand their processes, support documentation efforts, and make recommendations that would improve the patient experience or mitigate negative downstream effects. Furthermore, where possible, you will establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track the efficacy of the newly established processes. Lastly, ANHC is changing its Electronic Health Record (EHR) vendor, and the Process Standardization Coordinator will support process updates where needed to marry workflows in the new system.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) years professional experience preferred. Experience in primary care or health careers highly desirable. Knowledge of process documentation, process improvement, data analysis, facilitation, and change management desired.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND LICENSURE: Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, English, Health Professions, Human Services, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field. Experience may be substituted for a required degree on a year for year basis. Six Sigma or related certification preferred.
ADDTIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Bilingual preferred.
HIRING RANGE: $26.82 - $33.52
