Patient Services Lead

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Director of Practice Management, the Patient Services Lead ensures efficient day-to-day operations of the Patient Services Department.  This position will be responsible for training and continued guidance of staff within an assigned Pod, ensure adequate staffing coverage, and communicate with other Patient Services Leads to ensure all daily goals and expectations are met. The Patient Services Lead will be responsible for performing all duties of a Patient Services Representative. The Patient Services Lead will be responsible for auditing encounters, managing registration paperwork, accumulating data for quality outcomes and identifying targeted training for Patient Services staff. The Patient Services Leads will work directly with Clinical Admin Coordinators and other Patient Services Leads to ensure efficient patient flow.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Requires five years of appropriate office work experience with progressive responsibility, including at least two years in the healthcare industry.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: Graduation from high school or the equivalent.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Bilingual preferred

HIRING RANGE:  $20.15 - $25.18
