Employee Health & Infection Control Program Manager
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing the Employee Health & Infection Control Program Manager is responsible for the administration of ANHC’s Employee Health and Infection Control Program that includes; policy and procedure development, infection control standards, protocol and compliance consistent with regulatory requirements, staff education, employee immunization tracking, and generalized occupational health and safety. This position works in collaboration with Human Resources and clinical departments.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an acute care/outpatient clinical setting or equivalent. Experience with infection prevention and control and occupational health required.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, epidemiology or public health. Bachelor of Science in Nursing with current and unrestricted RN license highly preferred. Advanced Certification in Occupational Health and Infection Control preferred. Must have and maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Ability to develop policies and procedures. Ability to teach and evaluate clinical performance with a diverse group of employees. Must be able to work collaboratively with multiple department heads. Must be proficient in multiple software programs including (EHR) Electronic Health Record.
