Name: Chantal Hawk, CPNP-PC

Role at ANHC: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Part of the ANHC team since: August 2019

Why did you become a pediatric nurse practitioner?

“Children are likely to live up to what you believe of them.” –Lady Bird Johnson

Children need to be believed in, be supported, and have a cheerleader as they grow, develop, create goals, and chase their dreams. Children deserve to have the most excellent care and I want nothing more than to partner with their parents to provide that for them.

What can patients and their families expect when they work with you?

When they come in for an appointment, patients and families can expect to have their concerns thoroughly discussed and a plan in place before they leave. Families can expect to be treated as partners in a team when it comes to taking care of their children.

What do you find most rewarding about working at ANHC?

What I enjoy the most is making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families by building bonds and caring relationships with families and the community.

When you’re not working, where are you likely to be?

When I am not working, you can find me to be with my three year old daughter and husband exploring Alaska. We can be found outside, experiencing Alaska festivals and events.
