Behavioral Health Consultant - Psychologist

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:  This position is responsible for integrated behavioral health care. The Behavioral Health Consultant will be part of an integrated primary care team. Scope of work will include but not limited to: screening, assessing, triaging and managing patients in a primary care setting. Position requires availability to provide services during regular hours of operation. 

WORK EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized work experience which involves using psychological assessments, formulating diagnosis or treatment recommendations and providing behavioral health services to patients. Previous experience in an integrated care setting and experience providing care to children and adolescents preferred. 

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND LICENSURE: Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited PhD or PsyD program. Maintain a current, active license with the State of Alaska as Psychologist. Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEBilingual preferred.
