Reading Volunteers
Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center is a Reach Out
& Read site. To encourage pediatric literacy
volunteers read to children in our waiting rooms and
hand out books. For more information on this

Fundraising
Committee
The Fundraising Committee is made up of civic and
business leaders. Currently, the Committee organizes
two fundraising events per year. The meeting
schedule varies. For more information, email

Office Staff
All skill levels and types needed. Help stuff,
shred, sort, deliver, mail, write, fax, etc. The
duties may not be exciting, but your co-workers are!

Medical Personnel
ANHC hires physicians, mid-levels, nurses, dentists,
lab & x-ray personnel, etc. The Center does, on
occasion, accept volunteers for these positions as
well. For more information, email

Interpreters
ANHC serves a diverse community with language needs.
Translation and interpretation skills are necessary
to eliminate barriers to care, especially for
Samoan, Korean, Hmong and Hispanic people.
