          Finance Director

Multi-site nonprofit primary medical and dental center, including pharmacy services is recruiting for a Finance Director to oversee all aspects of the Financial Department. The candidate must have the skills to interact effectively with the Board of Directors and the ability to develop a long term vision to achieve strategic results. Creativity and the ability to partner and communicate effectively with a strong peer group are necessary for success.

The ideal candidate will have experience in non-profit management, a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership position, and a minimum three years supervisory experience and health care experience. Previous experience with a multi-specialty medical group or public accounting experience with an emphasis in health care, contract and grant administration preferred. CPA and/or MBA preferred.

        Clinical Operations Director

Responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of health care delivery at a health center including scheduling, coordination, logistics, staffing patterns, supervision, training and reengineering, and quality improvement initiatives. Operates with considerable latitude and discretion to carry out center objectives. The Clinical Operations Director provides direct supervision to key administrative staff including, Nursing Manager, Laboratory and X-Ray manager, Patient Services Supervisor and Health Information Supervisor. Provides direct or through subordinates the supervision of all clinical site support staff.

A Bachelor’s degree in a health-related, social science or business administration field from an accredited college or university required. Three years of full-time related experience. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required. Substitution: A Master’s degree in a health related, social science or business administration field with two years of full-time related experience with at least two years of supervisory experience.

        Senior Administrative Assistant - Clinical

Will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Medical Director, Clinical Operations Director and clinical staff in areas of communication, clinical protocol development, and ongoing clinician activities. Credentialing for new providers, re-credentialing for ANHC providers and PAMC Staff providers. New license, renewals and DEA for MD’s, PA and ANP. Create provider templates in Medical Manager. Will execute administrative policies and relieve staff of clerical work and minor administrative and business detail. Will act as liaison between medical staff and Medical Director to facilitate the flow of information.

Associates degree preferred. Minimum of three years administrative experience at the executive management level. Experience in a medical office or community health preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail. Must be able to work independently. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven track record of producing high-quality written materials, and strong editing and proofreading skills. Must be computer literate using word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Bilingual preferred.

Physician

ANHC is seeking Board Certified Family Practice physicians with a shared vision for clinical excellence and economic viability for a growing agency. This is a multi-site community health center that provides services to a diverse population of clients. Comprehensive core services include Dental, Pharmacy, Case Management, and Laboratory.

Must be a graduate of an accredited medical school. Must have completed U.S.G.M.E approved Residency program. Board certification preferred; board eligible if new residence graduate. Must obtain and possess current Alaska medical licensure and DEA certification, obtain and maintain membership in applicable specialty board; meet minimum CME requirements per licensing board on a yearly basis; maintain CPR certification; and obtain current staff privileges at local hospitals as determined by the Medical Director.

CMA/LPN (Part time)

Responsible for preparing patients for physician encounters including auditing patients per ANHC’s standards and policies. Takes vital signs, records patients history, prepares appropriate instruments for examination/procedure.

Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or a medical assistant program. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Alaska. Minimum two years of nursing or clinical experience. Bilingual preferred.

CMA (Temporary Position)

Works under the direction of a qualified professional nurse. Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, standards and policies of the department and within the parameters of his or her preparation. Cooperates with the members of the nursing and medical staff and other center departments. Responsible for preparing patients for physician encounters including auditing patients per ANHC’s standards and policies. Takes vital signs, records patients history, prepares appropriate instruments for examination/procedure.

Graduation from a medical assistant program. Must be have a certification as a medical assistant. Minimum one year of nursing or clinical experience. Bilingual preferred.

Patient Services Rep I

Responsible for greeting all patients/visitors to the Center; providing information to patients and staff; checking patients in/out; verifying all demographics; notifying appropriate persons of messages and information, maintaining an orderly and clean waiting room area; and updating current days schedule in Medical Manager.

High school graduate or equivalent required. Requires two years customer service experience with handling of cash verifiable. Experience in a medical or dental setting preferred. Bilingual preferred. Knowledge of standard medical/dental office policies and procedures. Must be familiar with medical/dental terminology. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Must pass a background check.

Health  Information Management (HIM) Tech (Full time & On Call)

The Health Information Management (HIM) Tech will provide complete medical charts to all requesting staff. Will ensure that accurate, timely, and complete medical information is available. Will file incoming paperwork, purge medical records, and process and verify ROI requests.

High school graduate or equivalent. Two years clerical experience required. Knowledge of medical terminology and Release of Information desirable. Must have the ability to organize workload, work independently, and adapt to changing work environment and responsibilities. Must be accurate, versatile, and dependable. Computer skills for data entry required. Bilingual preferred.
