Anchorage Neighborhood Health is one of Alaska's largest outpatient medical and dental providers, serving nearly 14,000 patients per year with accessible and compassionate care from its two health centers in Anchorage. We welcome the support of the community in serving our patients and there are many ways to get involved:
Make a financial gift. Our Patient Care Fund privately supports activities for which there are no other funding sources. These include:
- Medication and charity care for patients with no insurance and no financial resources
- Community education activities for diabetes, colon cancer awareness, and other chronic issues. These are open to anyone in the community.

Make an in-kind contribution. ANHC accepts a variety of new and unused medical supplies, magazine subscriptions for our waiting room, children's books, and other items. We also accept medical equipment depending on our current need.

Volunteer your time. Our health center needs volunteers to help in a number of positions:
- Office work - All skill levels and types needed. Help stuff, shred, sort, deliver, mail, write, fax, etc. The duties may not be exciting, but your co-workers are!
- Marketing and Fundraising Committee - Volunteer to make our health center a better place by helping raise funds and assisting in our marketing efforts.
- Reading Volunteers - ANHC is a Reach Out & Read site. To encourage pediatric literacy, volunteers read to children in our waiting rooms and hand out books. Medical Personnel - ANHC hires physicians, mid-levels, nurses, dentists, lab & x-ray personnel, etc. The Center does, on occasion, accept volunteers for these positions as well.

The Health Center means different things to different people. It is quality care with a familiar face through the years. It is the only provider in a tough situation. And, it is Anchorage's only health provider dedicated to serving low and moderate income patients who may, but frequently do not, have health insurance.
