PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR II
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Provides care coordination to HIV/AIDS patients throughout the disease spectrum to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of HIV clinical care and that patients connect with and maintain continuous access to medical, psychiatric, and social services.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from accredited RN or LPN program. Two years case management or related experience. Knowledge of the chronic care model a plus.

Operator
SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position is a direct communication between outside contacts and staff. Answers multi-line phone system. Schedules patients appointments. Records and updates patients demographic information. Primary responsibility will be to answer in-coming calls in a timely manner with a pleasant voice. Responsible for taking incoming messages from patients and distributing to appropriate staff. Verifies insurance when time permits.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or equivalent. Prefer 1-2 years prior phone experience within a medical/dental office setting. Medical assistant training and/or customer service experience is highly desirable but not required. Bilingual is desirable. Must pass a background check.

Medical Director
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Medical Director is a senior level administrative position with responsibility for all clinical services at all ANHC sites. This responsibility includes the authority to oversee all aspects of health care delivery including planning, resource allocation, growth and development, regulatory compliance, quality, efficiency and the recruitment and supervision of all medical staff. This is a full time position with a flexible balance of clinical and administrative duties targeting an approximate time ratio of 70% administrative and 30% clinical. Clinical duties include inpatient and outpatient services as a primary care physician including on-call responsibilities where appropriate. The Medical Director is directly accountable to the ANHC Executive Director with collateral accountability to the Board of Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine
• Licensed or license eligible by the State of Alaska
• Must maintain an unrestricted license to practice in Alaska and maintain active privileges at the hospital
• Proven ability in clinical practice
• Excellent writing and speaking communication skills
• A high energy level and the ability to follow projects through to completion
• Ability to build consensus and work in a team setting
• Strong conflict management, negotiation and persuasion skills, professional demeanor, attitude, and motivation is essential
• Commitment to delivery of high-quality, cost-effective health care
• An understanding of physician compensation systems
• Experience in a community health care environment is preferred
• An understanding of group Financial and Management operations.
• Ability to work as a member of a management team
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with medical staff, patients, clinical support and administrative staff.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic school with MD, DO or equivalent degree. Successful completion of ACGME accredited Family Practice Residency. Board certified in Family Practice, Pediatrics or Internal Medicine. Minimum of 5 years in clinical practice in a primary care group with 3-5 years in a leadership position. Community health center experience is preferred.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: This is an on-call position. Responsible for all aspects of janitorial maintenance in a healthcare facility. Keeps premises of building in clean and orderly condition as well as securing against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or equivalent. One year related experience required. Clinical cleaning experience preferred. Must be familiar with basic housekeeping equipment and cleaning practices. Must also be familiar with personal protection equipment used while working with chemicals and biological waste. Must pass a background check. Requires the ability to drive, walk, lift, bend, stoop, carry and move up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders.
HIRING RANGE: $11.00 - $12.51/hour
SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Dental Director is a senior level administrative position with responsibility for all dental services at all ANHC sites. This responsibility includes the authority to oversee all aspects of health care delivery including planning, resource allocation, growth and development, regulatory compliance, quality, efficiency and the supervision of the Dental Operations Manager and the dentists. The dentist provides general dentistry treatment to include extractions, restoration, and prevention.
QUALIFICATIONS: Board Certification in Dentistry. Licensed or license eligible by the State of Alaska. Proven ability in dental practice. Highly interested and motivated in the fields of urgent dental care, exodontia, operative, preventive, prosthodontics and pediatric dental care. Commitment to delivery of high-quality, cost effective health care. Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, patients, clinical support and administrative staff. Must have three years experience. Bilingual (Spanish) speaking preferred.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: To provide primary medical care to patients. Develops and maintains proficiency in delivery of primary care medical services. Cooperatively participates in the hospital call schedule. Develops and maintains a working knowledge of basic CPR, anaphylaxis treatment, and emergency protocols. Practices ethical conduct at all times during patient contact. Maintains an effective professional and respective relationship with other members of the health care team. Maintains current written collaborative relationship with collaborative midlevel practitioners.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited medical school. Completion of U.S.G.M.E. approved Residency program. Must have or be eligible to obtain an Alaska medical license. Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
